Saw HBP tonight. Tom Felton was really very impressive. Overall, was pleased with it, though not ecstatic. Death Eater masks continue to irritate me. Didn't feel it was very clear ( spoilers! )

Loved the Hermione & Harry BFF moments - really well done.

Alan Rickman was awesome, but nothing new or notable about that, lol.

Have to admit, I wasn't terribly interested until about two-thirds of the way in - if I'd grabbed it from the library on a whim, I probably wouldn't have finished it. But it was recommended, so I did, and I'm glad of it.

Will hopefully be able to pick up The Virtu tomorrow, which I'm getting new & hardcover for $5 because Chapters is awesome, and plan to devour it.

I watched the ABC movie "Judas" last night. Very slashy. Totally different Judas than the Judas portrayed in JCS, but he still comes across as a man tormented by his beliefs and unrequited love.

Acting, at least with the principle characters, is good, better than one usually gets from ABC.

The dialogue is good, but not really era-appropriate. A lot of semi-modern slang is mixed in.

Worth buying, though preferably at discount price.
