All fairest things are even but shadow and dream [G - D/Leon - Petshop]

Title: All fairest things are even but shadow and dream
Fandom: Petshop
Pairing/Characters: D/Leon-ish
Rating: G
Words: 111
FF100 Prompt: #024 - Family (table)

Notes/Summary: I really don't know where I was going with this, honestly, except that I was trying to fit it to [info]cheloya's prompt, aka: the title. Life is good, and then it sucks.

Anyways, that's one down and two to go. Concrit welcome.

Haven't worked on my FF100 claim in forever - help?

Give me 5 D/Leon prompts, and I promise to write 3 of them no matter how evil they are.

Thanks, lovelies!

Set: Colours of the Sun and Sky

A set of drabbles and ficlets each inspired by an individual colour prompt.

Title: Colours of the Sun and Sky
Fandom: PSoH
Pairing: D/Leon
Rating: PG
FF100 Prompts: #011 - #020 (table)

Red: "Unequal" - G - It isn't a fair trade, but he makes it willingly.

Orange: not yet written

Yellow: "New Road, Old Story" - G - Leon made a list of the places D was most likely to hide.

Green: "Grass Stains" - PG - Fluffy! Domestic! Frightening! Post v10, spoiler-free. Hell, maybe v10 didn't even happen in this verse - but then again, it probably did.

Blue: "Blue" - G - Post-series. D POV; Leon's given up.

Purple: not yet written

Brown: not yet written

Black: "Dead Earth" - G - Apoco-fic. The earth is dead. V10 spoilers; some squinting required.

White: not yet written

Colourless: "Glass" - G - A thing that is broken is not necessarily without value.

I'd love to read any comments!

Apr. 15th, 2009

book is read.

Finished Corambis. Am happy; love everyone. On to Turn Coat. More coherency later.

Apr. 14th, 2009

I HAZ IT!

I almost kissed the Canada Post guy today - I finally have Corambis! *joys* Also Turn Coat. Now . . . which to read first? *ponders*

Apr. 12th, 2009

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll love you, tomorrow, it's only awaaay~!

So, Corambis should arrive tomorrow, unless I miss the delivery. (Also, Turn Coat, but I sense a great lack of caring from you all about that.) I was hoping it woulod get in on Friday, but no joy . . .

I watched a movie called Big Eden the other day. Fan-freaking-tastic. Definitely a feel-good movie, but one with genuine artistic merit. The Small American Town is improbably willing (and eager) to accept and matchmake for its newly returned prodigal son who likes to think he's still in the closet. And Pike is just adorable. And kind of heartbreaking. Anyways, I recommend it highly.

In other news, the cold that's plagued me horribly (haha! see what I did there? i so funny.) for the last week is finally showing signs of going away. Hurrah.

WTF, weather?

Seriously, what the fuck? SNOW!? Freaking SNOW!? It's April! We've had sunshiny semi-warmness for over a week straight! And yet, come April 1st, we get SNOW!?

. . . this is an April Fool's joke from the Planet Earth, isn't it?

*grumbles*

I mean, even in the Yukon we hardly ever got snow into April.

I wanna be waaaaaaaarm!

*fails*

*headdesk* Why do I always do this to myself?

2 x 750word play reviews due tomorrow morning. I can hardly remember the first play, as I saw it two frigging months ago. How is it suddenly the 31st? Last time I checked it was a week ago, and I had plenty of time! And then I have a 7-page self-critique due thursday night, and a self-assessment thing too . . . I am such a procrastinator.

Karate tiem naos!

Started going to karate again tonight, after being away for five freaking years. The result? PAIN. Had to walk home in the cold nasty darkness with wet hair from all the sweating and that was unpleasant. I ran a hot bath to help stave off tomorrow's inevitable stiffness, and dropped in a bath bomb from Lush. yuuuuuum. Read a bit of Mind Fuck while I relaxed (I have two copies, one good copy, and one for bathes and bus trips and other book-damaging things so that I can read it whenever/wherever the fuck I want, thank you very much.) I always, ALWAYS forget how freaking amazingly well done it is and how much I love it. I didn't even get to the sexy bit, and it still gave me the happies. After getting out of the tub, I had some frozen yogurt. :D

. . .

Of course, none of this compares to the fact that my own little fuckingdarling uke, aka [info]cheloya, got her paws on a copy of Corambis a whole week early. (>_<) Death, death to you!

I think I'm going to go off and rant for a little while.

Dilly and Parilthon - Ambush!

For [info]cheloya, who woke up missing them, and [info]kuchibue, who requested it a while back:

"Ambush, exclamation mark"
a Dilly & Parilthon story

In which Dilly's plan goes awry. )

Mar. 27th, 2009

sleeeep. (& ice cream)

so tired. so very tired. want ice cream. dreamed I was still sewing Parilthon & he came after me with the needle. escaped cause his stuffing fell out. bizarre.

FREEDOM

Finished! Finally-fucking-finished, and with 3 hours to spare!

*huge sigh of relief/exhaustion*

Had to completely BS one section, but whatev. Better than not finishing at all.

Corambis!

Hah! I can get properly excited now! Two weeks until Corambis is releeeeeeeased! *happy dance*

In other news, still not finished The Project Of Doom. (approximately 68% complete; 6 hours till midnight.) I am, however, much refreshed, and I've figured out *what* to write for one of the nasty tricky sections, so it hopefully won't be impossible.

I really must learn not to procrastinate.

Homeworking time!

*rolls up figurative sleeves*

Alright! I've had a nice, restorative, nap, and I'm ready to set down to work through the night. *knuckle-crack* Hopefully another 2-3k will do the trick, although I still have no idea what I'm supposed to do in even the vaguest sense for one section of the paper, perhaps it will magically spring into being when the rest is finished.

Mar. 19th, 2009

Shepherding: the new spectator sport.

Seriously. Watch it. You WILL lol.

Eggs! Eggs! Eggs!

Green, and with ham!

Adopt one today!

So, one of my monday classes has been canceled. Was it the early morning one that I hate dragging myself to? No, of course not. It was the late afternoon class. *grumble*

yumyuminmytum

White hot chocolate is very strange. It looks all white and cloudy and dull, but it tastes super yummy!

(this random post brought to you by insomniacs anonymous)

Reading White Knight right now. Hope Marcone's in this one! :D

ETA: Oh! And eggs/hatchies for you to click on!

Aren't they darling?
