Dilly has bad dreams sometimes.

Last night, Dilly hung up a dream-catcher to keep the bad dreams away. Then Dilly went to bed, and then Dilly went to sleep.

Dilly woke up trapped in the dream catcher! It was a spider’s web now, though. That was bad enough. Dilly did not get any pleasure at all out of having his arms and legs restrained. It was bad! Then the spider came! It was spotty! It probably had the chicken pox. Dilly was afraid the spider would give him the chicken pox or maybe eat him.

Then Dilly woke up.

Parilthon knows that Dilly is the bestest and that Dilly and Parilthon have a Destiny and eventually they’ll get married and have a cottage and live Happily Ever After, but sometimes Parilthon gets so sad when Dilly runs away that he thinks about not chasing anymore.

But Parilthon isn’t weak. It’s just a test. Parilthon will win and Prove His Love. It’s important, so he’ll do it.

Uncle Mel-Mel (before his tragic and very mysterious accident) used to say things to Parilthon about love.

Love is special, Uncle Mel-Mel said once, don’t ever let it go.
